A Month at the Beach in Winter: Halfway Through

Today marks the beginning of our third week at the beach, and though it is only a little past noon, it has been the perfect day.

Perhaps it's because we have been walking about 40 miles a week and are learning to hit our (loose-leashed!) stride...

...or maybe it's because it's a beautiful, warm and sunny day...

...or because we began the day at sunrise and reveled in the colorful dawn...

...or was it the fishing boat that captured our interest, floating there just a little bit off shore?

...or maybe it was going to Mass at 8:30 AM , as has become our routine...

You could add in too, the playdate we had when we drove back "home" as Lily and her parents were heading out to the beach and invited us to come along...(Lily is 2 years old to Evie's 9 months...and they make a well-matched pair!)

...the run in the frothy surf....

...the meeting of new friends who happened upon us and yes, introduced three more Goldens to the party...

...or perhaps the cold rinse afterward under the hose...

...and now a snooze in the sunny, sun sun ...

Yes, it all adds up to a pretty perfect day, and we feel so very blessed.

Sending our Love,
Ronda & Evie
